Teddy is a Goldendoodle and is in the process of becoming a Certified Therapy Dog! Teddy has been a part of the Designer Smiles team since he was just 6 months old. He has quickly become the mascot of the office and is so loved (& maybe just a little spoiled.)
He is great at calming nervous patients, and many request specifically to have him by their side while they're here for their appointments! A good Teddy snuggle even comes in handy for those of us staff who might be having a tough day. He's everyone's favorite co-worker.
Casey Cole Walker
Administrative Director
Casey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2017. Casey's favorite part of her role as administrative director is ensuring the office is operating at its fullest potential. She also enjoys meeting new families and seeing the excitement of a new smile.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Casey loves spending time with her husband, Wesley, and their children, Carson and Emory. She always has a house full of family and friends! The beach is her happy place, but she enjoys any travel destination, outdoor adventures such as kayaking, and of course, Alabama football.
Shana Sims
Clinical Director
Shana joined the Designer Smiles team in 2018. Shana's favorite part of her role as clinical director is ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. She also enjoys seeing the transformation of our patient's smiles from start to finish.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Shana enjoys spending time with her husband, Austin, her son, Troy, and their two dogs, Louie and Roxy. Shana also enjoys Auburn football, going to the beach, and visiting the mountains.
Elyse Waldrop
Financial Coordinator
Elyse joined the Designer Smiles team in 2020. Elyse's favorite part of her role as Financial Coordinator is getting to meet new patients and being a part of the process of getting them started on their orthodontic journey!
Outside of Designer Smiles Elyse likes to spend time with her husband Heath and her son and daughter, Luke and Gracie. She also enjoys watching Luke play baseball and seeing his love for the game. Elyse is always up for a trip to the beach or anywhere tropical!
Maggie Carlile
Marketing Coordinator
Maggie joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023 and has quickly become a vital member of our practice. Her favorite part of her role is witnessing the excitement and joy of our patients as they progress through every step of their orthodontic journey—from their very first visit to the moment they leave with the smile they’ve always dreamed of.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Maggie is a devoted mother and a loving wife to her husband, Macain. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she brings patience, love, and joy to every day. Maggie also enjoys serving at her church, cooking and hosting for friends and family, and organizing game nights that create memorable moments filled with laughter and connection.
Lori Reaves
DentalMonitoring Coordinator
Lori's favorite part of being the DentalMonitoring Coordinator is meeting new patients as well as helping to make sure things are running smoothly,
Lori has been married to her husband Adam for 13 years and she has three children, Shaylie, Silas, and Saylor. Her hobbies include watching her children play softball, baseball, and basketball and spending time with those close to her.
Kandi Fulmer

Kandi joined the Designer Smiles team in 2024. Kandi's favorite part of her role as a treatment coordinator is interacting with patients and watching their excitement as they begin their orthodontic journey.
Outside of Designer Smiles. Kandi enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy and children, Kynlee and Cael. You can always catch Kandi and her daughter at an athletic event as her husband is a local area coach and her son is a multisport athlete. When she is not at an athletic event Kandi enjoys cooking, the occasional DIY project, and trying new restaurants.

Abbey McCormack
Clinical Assistant
Abbey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2021. Abbey's favorite part of her role as a clinical assistant is interacting with patients and helping them through their orthodontic journey.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Abbey enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their dog, Chopper. She has a passion for baking and gardening, continually seeking out new recipes and fresh ideas for her garden. In addition, Abbey loves exploring new places, reading, working on creative crafts, and serving at her church as a pre-K teacher.
Morgan Busby
Clinical Assistant
Morgan joined the Designer Smiles team in 2015 and plays a key role as a clinical assistant, managing our finishing column. Her favorite part of her work is getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships while guiding them through the final steps of their orthodontic journey. Watching her patients’ confidence grow as they complete their smiles is what she enjoys most.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Morgan loves traveling with her husband, Troy, and cherishes time with their young daughter and their fur baby. She also enjoys serving in her church and spending quality time with family and friends.

Lab Coordinator
Dedria joined the Designer Smiles team in 2019. Dedria's favorite part of her role as lab coordinator is providing patients with excellent care.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her husband, Tony, and her son, Landon. Dedria enjoys kayaking, shopping, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, and watching Auburn football.
Stephanie Williams
Records Technician
Stephanie joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023. Her favorite part of her role as Records Technician is interacting with and meeting new people! She's also always had a love for photography, so she really enjoys getting to be behind the camera every day!
Outside of Designer Smiles, Stephanie loves crafting, and spending time with her husband Mark, her twin girls Abby & Emma, and her son Brayden!

Erin has been with Designer Smiles since 2024. Her favorite thing as a scheduling coordinator is getting to be a part of each patient's orthodontic journey and getting to spend time with her work family.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors, painting, competing in pageants, and watching movies.
Arien Johnson
Arien joined the Designer Smiles team in 2024. With 9 years of experience in the dental and orthodontics field, Arien brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate touch to her work. Her favorite part of being an assistant is getting to see all of her patient's smiling faces.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Arien loves to unwind by spending time at the lake or beach, and she’s often found with her nose in a good book. Arien is a proud mother to her daughter Avery and son Cameron, and an all-around family enthusiast. When she’s not busy at work, you can usually find her cheering from the sidelines at the ball field or watching dance lessons. Whether she’s on the go with her family or enjoying some quiet time, Arien brings passion, dedication, and a positive attitude to everything she does!

Jessica joined the Designer Smiles team in 2025. Her favorite part of being a Clinical Assistant is helping people feel confident and love their smile.

Emily Sheppard
Orthodontic Assistant
Emily has been an orthodontic assistant since 2018 and joined the Designer Smiles team in June 2025. Her favorite part of being an assistant is helping patients achieve their perfect smile and watching their confidence grow throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and animals. She loves attending church, traveling, scuba diving, playing video games, coloring, and embracing life in the country with her small farm. Always eager to try new things, Emily brings curiosity and joy to everything she does.
Alexandra Ginn
Clinical Assistant
Alexandra joined the Designer Smiles team in 2025. Her favorite part of being a Clinical Assistant is meeting patients and building meaningful, long-lasting connections.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her dogs, Rooster and Maverick. She loves cooking and baking, getting lost in a good book, and driving around with friends while listening to music.
Briley McVey
Patient Care Specialist/Orthodontic Assistant
Briley has been a valued member of the Designer Smiles team since 2025. She doubles as both an Orthodontic Assistant and a Patient Care Specialist. Briley’s favorite part of her job is meeting and connecting with patients, making each visit a positive and personal experience.
Outside the office, Briley enjoys kickboxing, relaxing with her husband, and caring for animals. She also has a quirky appreciation for skeletons and is rarely far from a Red Bull — a true reflection of her energetic spirit!
Analeigh Adams

Analeigh joined the Designer Smiles team in 2025. Her favorite part of being a Patient Care Specialist is watching patients’ confidence grow as their smiles transform.
Outside of Designer Smiles, you can find her reading, spending time with her nieces and nephews, taking morning walks, and enjoying chips with cheese dip.

Clinical Assistant
Carina joined the Designer Smiles team in 2025. Her favorite part of being a Clinical Assistant is seeing patients leave the office excited and in love with their treatment results.
Outside of Designer Smiles, you can find Carina running in the summer, going to the gym, attending concerts, and trying new brunch spots with friends. She also deeply values and cherishes time spent with her family.
