Cook Springs Braces
Traditional braces remain one of the most reliable orthodontic tools at our disposal. These braces, made up of metal or ceramic brackets linked by wires and tiny rubber bands, are securely attached to your teeth. Regular adjustments by our doctors ensure these components work together to apply gentle pressure to your teeth, gradually guiding them into their ideal positions.
Cook Springs braces are an excellent solution for achieving a beautifully corrected smile, whether you're dealing with simple or complex dental issues. They also present a cost-effective option for patients mindful of their budget. Braces can sometimes close gaps and align teeth faster than other methods, potentially shortening the overall treatment time. This is because braces don't require some of the more complex technology or costly equipment that newer treatments do.
Cook Springs Clear Aligners
The Cook Springs Spark system is a popular alternative to traditional braces, using clear, removable aligners to gradually move the teeth into alignment. This option has gained immense popularity among patients and orthodontists alike, making it the leading alternative to traditional braces.
Clear aligners are made from a comfortable plastic material and are designed to fit snugly over the patient's teeth. They are virtually invisible and are typically replaced every 1-2 weeks with the next set in the series to keep the teeth moving in the right direction. However, not following the prescribed wear time can lead to slower treatment progress or no results at all.
Spark is most effective for correcting many common orthodontic issues, but it may not be the best choice for patients with particularly complex cases. A free consultation with Designer Smiles can help determine your eligibility for Invisalign. It's important to note that for clear aligners to work effectively, you must wear them for 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment.
