Teddy
certified therapy dog
Teddy is a Goldendoodle and is in the process of becoming a Certified Therapy Dog! Teddy has been a part of the Designer Smiles team since he was just 6 months old. He has quickly become the mascot of the office and is so loved (& maybe just a little spoiled.)
He is great at calming nervous patients, and many request specifically to have him by their side while they're here for their appointments! A good Teddy snuggle even comes in handy for those of us staff who might be having a tough day. He's everyone's favorite co-worker.
Casey Cole Walker
Administrative Director
Casey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2017. Casey's favorite part of her role as administrative director is ensuring the office is operating at its fullest potential. She also enjoys meeting new families and seeing the excitement of a new smile.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Casey loves spending time with her husband, Wesley, and their children, Carson and Emory. She always has a house full of family and friends! The beach is her happy place, but she enjoys any travel destination, outdoor adventures such as kayaking, and of course, Alabama football.
Shana Sims
Clinical Director
Shana joined the Designer Smiles team in 2018. Shana's favorite part of her role as clinical director is ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. She also enjoys seeing the transformation of our patient's smiles from start to finish.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Shana enjoys spending time with her husband, Austin, her son, Troy, and their two dogs, Louie and Roxy. Shana also enjoys Auburn football, going to the beach, and visiting the mountains.
Casey Cofield
Pell City Office Coordinator
Casey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2019. Casey's favorite part of her role as the Pell City Office Coordinator is walking with patients throughout their orthodontic journey from start to finish and seeing the result of a beautiful smile.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Casey enjoys hunting, the outdoors, watching Alabama football and spending time with her family and fur babies, Autumn, Bristol, Meathead, and Whiskey.
Elyse Waldrop
Financial Coordinator
Elyse joined the Designer Smiles team in 2020. Elyse's favorite part of her role as Financial Coordinator is getting to meet new patients and being a part of the process of getting them started on their orthodontic journey!
Outside of Designer Smiles, Elyse enjoys spending time with her husband, Heath, and son, Luke, and their favorite family activity is going to Auburn and Georgia football games. She also enjoys watching Luke play baseball and seeing his love for the game. Elyse is always up for a trip to the beach or anywhere tropical!
Shey Steward
Insurance Coordinator
Shey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2020. Shey's favorite part of her role as the insurance coordinator is helping patients and families navigate their treatment and maximize their benefits.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her husband, Kyle, her dogs, Boone and Maverick, and her family and friends. Shey loves to shop, work out, and watch all college sports.
Alyssa Anderson
Treatment Coordinator
Alyssa joined the Designer Smiles team in 2016. Alyssa's favorite part of her role as treatment coordinator is the fast-paced work environment and meeting new patients and their families.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she enjoys serving in her church, running, shopping, and spending time with her husband, Preston, her niece, Harper, her Chinese Crested Powderpuff, Louie, and Goldendoodle, Benny. Alyssa is an alumna of Jacksonville State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
Angie Myers
Treatment Coordinator
Angie joined the Designer Smiles team in 2006. Angie's favorite part of her role as treatment coordinator is welcoming and becoming acquainted with new patients and their families. She loves watching young patients grow into adults with beautiful smiles.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, her children, Lexi and Mason, and their dogs, Daisy and Maggie. She enjoys vacationing with her family, reading, cooking and the outdoors.
Abbey Roberson
Clinical Assistant
Abbey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2021. Abbey's favorite part of her role as a clinical assistant is interacting with patients and helping them through their orthodontic journey.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her friends and family.
Abigail Garcia
Clinical Assistant
Abbey joined the Designer Smiles team in 2017. Abbey's favorite part of her role as a lab technician and clinical assistant is working to create a friendly atmosphere for patients and families.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Abbey enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with her two sons, Max & Luca, and the rest of her family.
Destin Harris
Clinical Assistant
Destin joined the Designer Smiles team in 2020. Destin's favorite part of her role as a clinical assistant is seeing the excitement of a new patient beginning their orthodontic journey.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she enjoys spending time with her sons, Grayson and Sage, their dog, Acey Girl, her two cats, Penny and Shady, her family, and friends. She loves to shop online, and she is always up for a movie night!
Morgan Busby
Clinical Assistant
Morgan joined the Designer Smiles team in 2015. Morgan's favorite part of her role as a clinical assistant is interacting with all of our patients and helping them achieve a beautiful smile.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Morgan loves to travel with her husband, Troy, serving in her church, and spending time with friends and family.
Holly Hinchman
Clinical Assistant
Holly joined the Designer Smiles team in 2015. Holly's favorite part of her role as Clinical Assistant is the process of developing incredible smiles for our patients.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her husband, Chad, her sons, Collin and Jude, and the rest of her family. Holly also likes going to concerts and listening to music, particularly the Beatles!
Jessalyn Pressley
Clinical Assistant
Jessalyn joined the Designer Smiles team in 2021. Jessalyn's favorite part of her role as Clinical Assistant is meeting new patients. Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her family, her husband Shane, son Kasen, and step-son Bentley. She also spends a lot of time watching her boys play sports!
Alanah Zimmerman
Clinical Assistant
Alanah joined the Designer Smiles team in 2021. Alanah's favorite part of her role as a Clinical Assistant is building relationships with patients and watching their smiles transform.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Alanah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is currently a student at Jacksonville State University!
Dedria Carroll
Lab Coordinator
Dedria joined the Designer Smiles team in 2019. Dedria's favorite part of her role as lab coordinator is providing patients with excellent care.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she loves spending time with her husband, Tony, and her son, Landon. Dedria enjoys kayaking, boxing, shopping, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, and watching Auburn football.
Litzy Becerra Rosas
Scheduling Coordinator
Litzy joined the Designer Smiles team in 2022. Litzy's favorite part of working at Designer Smiles is the friendly and awesome work environment. She loves seeing patients faces light up as soon as they walk through the door as if they feel like family.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Christian and traveling to new places! She also enjoys being at her family's farm with her parents & younger siblings & shopping!
Kimberly Waddell
Scheduling Coordinator
Kimberly joined the Designer Smiles team in 2022. Kimberly's favorite part about working at Designer Smiles is getting to know all of the patients and their families on a personal level.
Outside of Designer Smiles, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel, be outdoors, attend concerts, and shop.
Amity Cooper
Clinical Assistant
Amity joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023. Her favorite part of her role as a Clinical Assistant is becoming closer to the patients and their families, and getting to know them on a personal level throughout their smile journey.
Outside of Designer Smiles, Amity loves spending time with friends and family, giving softball lessons, and watching her favorite show, Spongebob!
Maggie Carlile
Scheduling Coordinator
Maggie joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023. Her favorite part of her role as a scheduling coordinator is having a front row seat to watch the patient's excitement through every step of their orthodontic journey, from the moment they walk through the door for the first time to the the day that they leave with the smile they've always dreamed of!
Outside of Designer Smiles, Maggie loves spending time with her family and husband Macain, serve in the Children's Ministry at church, cook and host for her friends and family, and game nights!
Stephanie Williams
Records Technician
Stephanie joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023. Her favorite part of her role as Records Technician is interacting with and meeting new people! She's also always had a love for photography, so she really enjoys getting to be behind the camera every day!
Outside of Designer Smiles, Stephanie loves crafting, and spending time with her husband Mark, her twin girls Emma & Abby, and her son Brayden!
Ashleigh Black
Clinical Assistant
Ashleigh joined the Designer Smiles team in 2023. Her favorite part of her role as a Clinical Assistant is being able to connect with her patients and helping them achieve their dream smile!
Outside of Designer Smiles, Ashleigh enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, her husband Daniel, daughter Blakeleigh, and her two furbabies Baileigh and Buck!
